Departing from Carmelo de Santa Teresa in Coimbra, the Carmelita Route is an invitation to reach the Sanctuary of Fátima through 111 km designed in the municipalities of Coimbra, Condeixa-a-Nova, Penela, Ansião, Alvaiázere and Ourém;
It is an alternative route to the major road axes that offers the walker / cyclist more secure and comfortable sections. This Route is a proposal for discovering the territory, enjoying landscape and culture. The fauna and flora, the mountain ranges and the crossed water courses, offer scenarios of great natural richness on the route. The chapels that adorn the path, the contact with the people, the historic-heritage spaces, the delicacies to whet your appetite or the traditional know-how that still excels in these parts. Being a Carmelite-inspired path, this Route is also an invitation to travel kilometers in the spiritual evolution for believers, it is a Route that finds the inspiration of this journey in the life and work of Sister Lúcia.

At the blue zone you can book a farm stay for 45 Euro per room (max 2 person).
During your stay you can use our laundry, sauna, electric bicycles and the gym for free.
You can order plant based western and Thai cuisine with organic veggies from the land.
